Hey everyone! My name is Alan, and I'm honored to serve as LBSA's Director of Consulting and Project Manager. Originally from Guanajuato, Mexico, I was raised in Los Angeles and am proud to be a transfer student at UC Berkeley. Joining LBSA was one of the best decisions I've made at Berkeley. I started as an intern on the Professional Development and Consulting Committee, where I discovered that consulting is about much more than solving business problems—it's about collaborating with others and creating meaningful impact. That experience inspired me to step into this role with a vision of building a consulting community that is accessible, supportive, and genuinely rewarding for every member.

Outside the classroom, I'm passionate about media and entertainment, especially the strategy and creativity behind what happens behind the scenes. Whether it's film, television, sports, or live events, I'm fascinated by how great teams transform ideas into experiences that reach millions of people. When I'm not on campus, you'll probably find me cheering on the Dodgers, relaxing at a SoCal beach (Hermosa Beach is my favorite), or exploring new places around Los Angeles. As Director, my goal is simple: to create opportunities that help every member grow with confidence—whether you're attending your first workshop, preparing for your first case interview, or leading your first client project. If I can help make someone's journey a little less intimidating and a lot more rewarding, then I'll consider this year a success. I can't wait to work with all of you!
